Celebrate the long weekend with Caribbean fun!

The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival is a celebration of Caribbean music, food and culture as well as visual and performing arts. Formerly known as Caribana, this event has become one of the largest international cultural festivals of its kind in North America. Fun for both young and old, many are attracted to the vibrant atmosphere and crowds of people who can’t stop dancing to the reggae, hip hop, calypso and other music. If you’re planning to go, the one event you don’t want to miss is the grand parade. A colourful combination of bands, dancers and costumes, the parade truly puts the Caribbean culture on display.
