Every year in Vancouver since 1990, hundreds of thousands of people gather to marvel at the international display of fireworks for the Celebration of Light. On August 1^st and August 4^th, Brazil and Italy will battle for the winning title. Fireworks may be the highlight of the festival, but there are so many other activities for the family to enjoy. The concert series features a wide variety of musical talent from bands like The Trews, Joel Plaskett and Said the Whale. Plus you can join in the fun with beach volleyball or three-on-three basketball.
