In 1962, the Abbotsford Airshow began when the local Flying Club decided it was the best way to promote flying from the Abbotsford Airport, which was inactive at the time. They put on a show that would not soon be forgotten! Fifty years later, they’re still continuing the tradition by showing off not only different aircrafts, but the different capabilities of each, like refuelling, fire-fighting, and of course, speed and agility.
