Made In Canada

We certainly love our homegrown Canadian products! It’s not easy to find Canadian-made goods anymore so here’s a list to remind you of Canada’s more prestigious exports!

Maple Syrup: Canada wins the race on this one, producing approximately 80% of the world’s pure maple syrup. Maple syrup has long been a part of our Canadian culture and the demand continues to grow in recent years.

Ice-wine: From wineries all over Canada, including the Niagara-on-the-Lake region comes one of Canada’s most popular exports; Icewine. Who would have imagined, our cold brisk weather helps to harvest some of the most delicious grapes which continually make Canada a leader in the Icewine industry.

Single Malt Whisky: Distilled in Cape Breton, Glen Breton Rare is aged 10 years and is marketed as Canada’s only single malt whisky. Haven’t tried it? Pick some up at the Duty Free store the next time you’re crossing the border.

Toffee: Nothing says Canada more than our homemade toffee. Not only does toffee make a great snack for a road trip but it also makes a great gift for any occasion. Whether you prefer it chilled overnight or sprinkled over your favourite dessert, life is just better with Canadian toffee! Be sure to pick some up at a Duty Free location next time you’re crossing the border.
