It is the final day for entries to the Duty Free “What’s your travel character?” competition. The participation has been phenomenal with over 6,000 entries and the number is still mounting by the minute. There are many entries that are funny and in contention to win the $1,000 shopping spree and there are many more in contention to be one of the 100 that will be placed on our Facebook page to be voted on by anyone who “likes” them.

We have so many entries to review that we have extended the adjudication dates. That means the popular voting period on Facebook will be August 10th to August 17th and we hope to announce the winners on Thursday August 19th.

Note: there are many entries that are funny but there are many more that are just OK. So if you are feeling creative and can write a funny caption there is still time for you to enter and win!
